Steel industry

Exhaust air purification

In the steel and rolling industry, oil or emulsion mist is often generated during the production process and must be washed out of the air. Air scrubber systems such as our Scrubvap help to comply with the limit values and ensure clean exhaust air.

Automotive industry

Process air conditioning

In the automotive industry, paints and solvents are used that have to be washed out of the air again after the production process. This task is ideally performed by an air scrubber such as the Lavair Scrubvap.

Semiconductor manufacturing

Clean room technology

The air quality in semiconductor manufacturing is particularly characterized by high demands on cleanroom technology. Here, expensive filter devices such as activated carbon filters are used, which can filter the finest particles from the air. While activated carbon filters have a very high cleaning effect, they are also very cost-intensive. Scrubvap air scrubbers can be connected upstream of the activated carbon filter as an additional filter unit and support it in filtering. This considerably extends the service life of the expensive filter units and they need to be changed less frequently. The product quality is additionally increased.

Functionality of the air washer systems

Lavair air scrubbers operate on a simple basic principle. Water is drawn from a reservoir via a centrifugal pump; city or industrial water can also be used. The water is then sprayed through nozzles into a duct and then absorbed by the air.

Lavair air scrubbers work very efficiently. The water that is not absorbed by the air automatically ends up in a container and is reused. Thus, only evaporated water needs to be refilled. The operation of the air scrubber is therefore very cost-effective.
