About us
Lavair was founded back in 1996 and quickly developed into a market leader as a manufacturer of air washers. In addition to the standard applications of air washers, the focus was on new, innovative humidification systems from an early stage.
As a company within the family-run Herrmann Group, which is active worldwide with more than 100 employees, we stand out due to state-of-the-art stainless steel processing, an innovative development spirit and a corporate culture rich in tradition. From the very beginning, we have been supported by international sales partners who advise our customers on product selection, maintenance, refurbishment and repairs.
Our staff will reliably assist you, from the layout to the design of your humidification system. In this way, we can find a suitable and economical solution for even the most demanding humidification tasks.

TÜV certification in accordance with VDI 6022
The possibility of microbial colonisation cannot be ruled out in any water-bearing system, air humidifiers included.
To prevent health risks emanating from this, regular thorough inspections, testing, cleaning and, where applicable, sterilisation are very important.
For a hygienic operation, all areas of the humidifier, including the droplet separators, must be easily and safely accessible.
VDI Guideline 6022 contains important design information regarding the accessibility of contaminated surfaces.
Microbial inertness of the materials used is also a requirement.
Guideline VDI 6022 currently documents the state of the art in respect of the hygiene requirements of AHU systems and the humidifiers contained therein.
According to the German Occupational Health and Safety Act (§ 4 No. 3), this must be taken into account during the operation of air conditioning units.
To give our customers peace of mind that our humidifiers are based on the recognised state of the art technology, we have had the basic structure certified in accordance with VDI 6022 by the TÜV Nord
