As a manufacturer of humidification technology, Lavair supplies direct and indirect or adiabatic and isothermal systems worldwide.

We offer the highest quality standards, energy-efficient operation, high reliability and durability Made in Germany. Fields of application of our humidification technology

Lavair humidification technology is successfully used in many different industries. Our systems ensure that the quality of products improves, processes are optimized, and our customers are provided with ambient conditions that are favorable from a technical or health point of view.

Precisely controllable humidity or humidification and clean air form the basis for many downstream industrial processes. Below you will find an overview of the most important industry-related application areas.
Automotive industry
Process air conditioning
Here, the SCRUPVAB and the SPRAYVAP are predominantly used as humidification technology. The SCRUPVAB from Lavair is particularly in demand for high performance requirements in terms of air volume flows or humidification capacities.

The SPRAYVAP is ideal for recirculation or process air applications for post humidification and for small to medium humidification capacities.
Building services engineering
Building air conditioning
For high comfort and a perfectly controlled climate, we recommend our humidification technology JETVAP-Basic.

The JETVAP-Basic is always used where a minimum humidity is required and costs are to be saved, such as in the field of building and comfort air conditioning.
Steel industry
Exhaust air purification
For exhaust air purification in the steel industry, the SCRUPVAB or a dry separator are mainly used as humidification technology.

The challenge in exhaust air purification is mainly the leaching of oils, greases and emulsions.
Animal Feed Production
Exhaust air purification
In animal feed production, SCRUPVAB air scrubbers from Lavair are used for exhaust air purification. This humidification technology can be used specifically for the leaching of organic substances or as a preliminary stage for a biofilter. In the exhaust air, the leaching of gases and odors also plays a major role. Under certain conditions, these can even replace biofilters or activated carbon filters.

For example, the SCRUPVAB generates the ideal humidity for a biofilter, so that the bacteria present there have perfect conditions to work. Lavair humidification technology is also used in the supply air. The optimal humidity ensures higher quality products and higher yields.
Semiconductor manufacturing
Clean room technology
In clean room technology or semiconductor manufacturing, our SCRUPVAB is used as a possible filter stage to relieve the downstream single-filter or activated carbon filter. An activated carbon bag is usually very expensive and has a comparatively short service life.

The SCRUPVAB can increase the service life of the activated carbon pocket many times over if it is used as an upstream filter stage. This means that the investment costs for our SCRUPVAB humidification technology are quickly amortized.
Textile industry
Exhaust air purification
For optimal air treatment , scrubbing and air purification our humidification technology SCRUBVAP is suitable e.g. in the production of textiles (yarns and fibers).

Other applications in the textile industry are process air conditioning and the binding of dusts to reduce the particle load of the working air. Fire and explosion protection should also be mentioned in this context.

In addition, there is improved product quality, as yarns and fibers can be processed better at higher humidity levels.

Functionality of the humidification technology

In the field of humidification technology, our patented high and low pressure techniques are incorporated. With this innovative technology and our patented control system, humidification applications can be controlled very precisely and designed economically.

Lavair high-pressure humidifiers operate according to the adiabatic humidification principle (e.g. in the field of exhaust air cooling). This makes them ideal for room air conditioning systems.

These high-pressure systems allow precise control by means of frequency converters. This results in an optimal and consistently constant spray pattern.

Low-pressure humidifiers from Lavair are based on the continuous flow principle and are particularly economical due to low humidification (0.1 to 1 g/kg). They also operate according to the adiabatic humidification principle. Our low-pressure humidifiers offer the advantage that they can also be combined directly with a customer-supplied heat exchanger.
