• Humidifier Stand

Developing and optimising humidifiers requires extensive tests. For this purpose, we have developed a humidifier test stand, which can be configured to reproduce air mass flow and air conditions at the humidifier inlet.

The air conditions at the humidifier inlet and outlet are recorded via a close-meshed grid consisting of humidity, speed and pressure sensors, and further processed in a specially developed measurement data acquisition system.

Based on numerous test series, it has thus been possible to further refine the computer models for designing air washers.

Key design parameters, such as circulating water quantity, construction length and nozzle grid, can thereby be determined much more exactly for the given operating conditions. This avoids uneconomical designs with increased energy requirements/water loss and over-dimensioned humidification length.
