Individual dispersion tubes

Individual dispersion tubes

Individual dispersion tubes - also known as distribution tubes - are used for the targeted introduction of steam into the air flow of air humidification systems. They are designed in particular for applications with low to medium steam output and enable controlled, reproducible humidity distribution.

Compared to multi-tube systems, individual dispersion tubes are characterized by simple integration, low system complexity and economical operation. They are preferably used when sufficiently dimensioned absorption sections are available in the air duct, so that complete absorption of the steam without condensate formation is guaranteed.

Modular expansion with additional dispersion tubes allows the steam output to be increased gradually without having to make any adjustments to the existing system structure. This enables a high degree of flexibility in the event of changing operating conditions.

Individual dispersion tubes for air humidification systems

In ventilation and air conditioning systems ( HVAC systems), dispersion ducts distribute steam evenly in the air duct. They are designed for installation situations with sufficient absorption distance and ensure stable humidity distribution under defined process conditions.

A single dispersion tube is preferred when uniform humidification is required at a comparatively low steam output and the structural conditions do not make the use of compact multi-tube systems necessary.

The design of the dispersion tube is based on fluidic and thermodynamic boundary conditions such as air velocity, temperature and humidity requirements in order to ensure that steam is introduced into the air flow evenly and with as little condensation as possible.

Further accessories for our humidification systems

The Lavair brand stands for air humidification systems that are tailored to different requirements and areas of application in industry. In addition to individual dispersion tubes, the following system components are available:

  • Vapor Logic® control systems for precise control and monitoring of humidification processes
  • Rapid-Sorb® steam distribution system for higher steam output with limited installation space
  • Ultra-Sorb® steam distribution system for short absorption distances and high demands on humidity distribution

These components can be combined within a higher-level steam distribution system and enable an application-specific design for different requirements in process and air conditioning technology.

Detailed technical data, design principles and further product information are available on the respective product pages.
